It can be played on all types of woodwind or even violin - I play it on the alto recorder.
It is said that this music is not written by Vivaldi, but by Nicolas Ch�deville (1705 - 1782) (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolas_Ch%C3%A9deville).
