Originally scored for SSAA and piano, this arrangement has been transcribed for TTBB men's chorus. This piece is a song without words. There are 4 variations that are fluid and connect without much transition. The piano keyboard score is demanding and requires a very good accompanist. The choral parts are fairly easy but require a good tenor section. The final section builds to several different rythymic accents. This piece was created from an idea of a winter scene of joy and wonderment, making snow angels; the quietness of the snowfall, to whirlwinds, to dancing in the snow, twirling around, eyes to the sky and tongues out, trying to get a taste of the snow and falling back into the cold white to make a snow angel. Close your eyes and listen as the snow falls. Great for Seasonal or Christmas programs.
