This is the second volume of chorale preludes based on well-loved tunes from the vast hymn tune literature. Each lasting a little under three minutes, these chorale preludes are useful as recital repertoire, as well as preludes, offertories, and postludes for church services. Each piece includes a brief history of the source tune, along with a list of the most familiar hymns that use it. Since most organs are just as unique as their players, registration and manual choices are left up to the performer.
