Written by Henry T. Smart in 1835, the hymn tune "Lancashire" is named for the part of England where it was first heard. This organ composition is most useful for Easter services using the hymn title "The Day of Resurrection." It can also be played during just about any church season using the other title most commonly associated with it, "Lead On, O King Eternal." Grade 4 – Duration 2:40
