Ricordi Del Contrabbando is a series of binary or ternary form sonatas for solo guitar depicting various Mediterranean ports in the great 20th century era (c. 1960-1980) of smuggling cigarettes and whiskey between Italy and the Black Sea. This sonata refers to the three ports of Piraeus in the Saronic Gulf.
