You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.In keeping with the overarching aesthetic conceit of having or, more accurately, hiding, proportional, metrical and tonal puzzles in the piece, oboe and strings in this, second movement, are set apart from the harp with the former in the keys of B and E major, and the latter in the more idiomatic (but otherwise difficult) C flat major. Where the original violin part has been recast for oboe, some of the ornamentation has been changed, and the string ensemble affords much richer textures - particularly at the final statement of the theme.
