"Place your Bets on the Company" comes from Daniel Laubacher’s musical "Company Policy". In this song the short-order cooks, Walter and Roger, plan to do a "walk out", that is to leave the restaurant during a busy Sunday morning brunch rush at the Merry-Go-Round Restaurant to object to the treatment they have been getting from the management (Ms. MacWiggel and Mr. Talihoe). Their plan includes playing a hand of cards before they walk out the door. The management, however, has been tipped off about this and crack down hard on them before they can say "Full House". The song has a jazzy feel and is in four parts with an orchestral accompaniment.
