This fun, retro 1950's piece was inspired by a collections of tunes I did back in 1986. They each had a 'time travel' motif. This was one of my favorites. It's your standard 'boy loses girl' tune in which the distraught gentleman is singing to a stuffed animal on his wall by the name of, "Lonely". I felt it could be easily re-arranged for jazz vocal choir, solo voice and 4 other parts. There's lots of da's, dit's and do's in the accompaniment parts mixed in with real works to keep the 1950's eighth note thing going. The solo tenor part could also be a baritone with a good falsetto voice. I hope you enjoy singing it as much I still do listening to it.
