The soprano, alto and tenor parts are quite complex - the tonality is fairly chromatic. However, the piece is underpinned by a constant G drone in the bass part. To that extent, the piece is vaguely modelled on John Taverner's Song for Athene. Any choir capable of singing that piece could certainly do justice to this one.
