From the poignant- and humorous Christmas Musical, "Lost On The Way To Bethlehem", this tender lullaby(number 8 of 9 original songs) describes a mother's feelings about her baby - and in particular, Mary's heart as she cradles her babe- the Christ Child. She reflects that: "A mother can't know what her child's life will be, but tonight, oh tonight, You are safe here with me." Sharing in her message is Joseph, the Street Person, and young girl, Shelley, who have not only found a place for the camel now, but a real place in their hearts for The Christ Child - newly found by the Street Person. *This work is also found in the shorter, sacred version: "Mary, Bring The Baby".
