A very enjoyable study, both to play and listen to, by Kohler transcribed for flute and piano by Gordon Heard, is a useful addition to the repertoire of good solos for the flute. It is quite difficult to play but well worth the effort. It can be linked and played after Kohler's "In the Moonlight" also transcribed by Gordon Heard for flute and piano.
