A lively setting of the words of the Magnificat from Luke 1 for solo soprano, SATB choir and piano. The score also includes guitar chords. With simple backing choir parts and an arrangement that builds to an exciting climax, this piece would be perfect for any carol service. It is also suitable to use as an anthem on other occasions. If your choir does not have a solo soprano, a small group of singers could take on the solo line.
