The best known of all the pieces Dvoř�k wrote for the piano must be the Humoresque in G flat major, the seventh of a set of eight. As with many other arrangements of this piece, the current one for flute and piano brings the key up to G major to make it easier to play. The melodic line remains faithful to the original but the piano part is significantly changes with some reharmonisations and new material.
The flute part is relatively straight forward (especially given that I can just about play it :P The piano part is more challenging requiring some good voice leading in the LH of the middle section. The mp3 is of me playing both parts but please forgive my flute playing as I have only been learning for a few months :S
