I created this sheet for my piano students who still struggle with note reading, particularly with the bass clef. No matter what other means I use to help them with this – intervals, skips versus steps, etc., it seems to always come down to this simple mnemonic device that I grew up with – the "Every Good Boy Does Fine" and related slogans. Yet I did not have a good graphic depiction of the classic old piano sayings, so I created my own in Sibelius. I hope it helps a lot of piano teachers out there!!!
