This is almost a straight transcription of Handel's splendid original with the addition of a little extra counterpoint - just play at whatever tempo you can manage comfortably. It is better to purchase the part to play from, set out in the traditional secondo on the left pages and primo on the right, rather than the score which is set out in the orchestral manner. This was frequently the encore piece when my duet partner and I gave a concert - we could manage it at great speed and often had to play it again as people loved it so much - I know you will love it too - enjoy!
