The 'celebrated' Czardas is a piece by Italian composer Vittorio Monti. Descibed as a 'rhapsodical concert piece'. written in 1904, it is a well-known folkloric piece based on a Hungarian Czardas.

It was originally composed for violin, mandolin or piano, and, of course there is now a multitude of arrangements for all kinds of ensemble, large and small.

While I have followed Monti's score up to a point, I have taken a few liberties, and added a few little extras along the way - as is my wont - though which hopefully don't detract from the effectiveness of the original!

Perhaps I've mixed Czardas with Tango a little in the Bb major section, but, if you want the basic original, there's always one out there somewhere!

I may well make a few more arrangements for other instrumental combinations, when I get the time!

I have added an alternative Trombone part in the Treble Clef (TC), if needed
