"Covenant Child" is used in some churches whenever they have a baptism. It is included in the recording, "Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs Volume 1," a Sunday school project from Great Commission Publications.

"Covenant Child" has been sung as a vocal solo (with various accompaniments), as a congregational hymn, by adult choirs and by children’s choirs (who sometimes do sign language as they sing). It has even been used in an adult Sunday school class to teach about baptism.
