Coulter's Candy (also known as Ally Bally Bee) was written in the mid 1800s as an advertising jingle for aniseed-flavoured sweeties sold in Melrose, Scotland. It became a playground classic, and enjoyed a resurgence in popularity in the 1960s when the song was rediscovered and published in The Singing Street. It has since been covered by Donovan, Hamish Imlach, and even by Australian group The Wiggles.

This PDF arrangement includes all the lyrics, a simple piano part (including the melody), and chords for guitar, ukulele, or any other instrument. There is also a lead sheet with just the melody, lyrics, and chords.
