Comin' Thro' the Rye was written in 1782 by Scottish poet Robert Burns, who set his words to a popular Scottish tune almost identical to the melody now used for Auld Lang Syne. This sheet music features the slightly tempered lyrics performed most often today.

Lyrics to all four verses and chorus are included along with a suggested piano part, although if you'd prefer, you can play the chords on the guitar, ukulele or on any other instrument.
