This melody, Werde munter mein Gemute, was used by Bach in various cantatas, as well as by other composers. (See link for more information.) It was a popular German hymn during the Baroque era, and my arrangement is in the style of the composers of that time, Bach, Pachelbel, and Walther, all who used the tune in various compositions. For playback I use harpsichord rather that organ, as I think it sounds better, and the sounds I would use to play this on the organ are not available.
