It is often played with trumpet and organ and is popular at weddings. It has also been used as the signature tune for the Eurovision Song Contest! Some people think it might have been written in celebration of a special occasion, such as the French victory in the battle of Steinkerque in August, 1692. This is an easy Wind Band arrangement, with an opportunity for solo/trio in the opening section.
