A transcription of a masterpiece like the Chaconne from the Bach's Partita Nr 2 for Violin Solo - BWV 1004 - always is an audacity or even an arrogance. The first time I have heard this Chaconne I became passionate. It was the Andrès Segovia transcription for guitar in a Grammophon long play record, performed by himself. After years, when I heard the Itzhak Perlman violin performance, I got mad and love-sick. So, what to do if I was not a guitarist neither a violin player and just a sufferable pianist? Well, as I had found the Bach/Busoni's piano transcription and followed that it was quite different from the Bach's original, I decided to do and play my own transcription. For that, I ask for the Bach's forgiveness.
