Yet another example of how Bach transcribes so well from one instrument to another. As a string playing organist I know exactly what will work and what won’t in transcribing Bach’s wonderful organ chorale preludes for strings. In this version the scoring is for strings and Bb trumpet which is given the chorale (Lutheran hymn melody).
