I call my collection of Christmas/Advent carols and poems “CAROL’S CHRISTMAS,” for they are the products of my years of carol writing. I originally titled A CAROL FOR ADVENT- “Carol for the Last Sunday in Advent”- to reflect the text, but it is appropriate for any Advent service. It should be performed energetically and with joy. The lyrics may also be used with the traditional Welsh folk song, The Ash Grove. It is available for piano and voices, as a lead sheet, as a choir reduction and as SATB with optional piano.
