This is the ninth of my Ten Pieces for solo piano, written in 1991. Premiered by Andrew Ball in York that year, it has been performed again by him, and more recently by Benjamin Frith at the St Hugh’s Festival in Grimsby in 2008. Please listen to the mp3 versions of the pieces. If you choose to perform any or all of the pieces (and they do comprise a single piece although a selection may be performed) I would be grateful if you inform me of the time and place.
