You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. In 'The Tempest' by Shakespeare, Miranda falls in love with Ferdinand, after some magic by Prospero (Miranda's father). The relationship seems good however, and this movement derived from incidental music to the play is meant to reflect this. The ensemble is a little tricky in the 5/4 section; the important thing is to get the tempo settled from the beginning, and to make sure the crotchet beat does not change when the time signature does. Jazzers may wish to take advantage of the opportunity to improvise, but the piece can be played without an improvised solo. The complete suite comprises 5 pieces.
