Paul Carr

I am a musician and teacher whose diverse accomplishments and experiences have helped me to become a respected performer and educator in the Greater Toronto Area of Canada.

Paul Carr graduated from McGill University with an Honors degree in Music Education and a major in saxophone performance. At McGill University, he earned a scholarship and won the principal saxophone chair of the McGill Symphony Orchestra in his graduating year.

His experience as a sideman (baritone sax and reeds) on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ship Monarch of the Seas has given him a great understanding of styles ranging from Classical and Broadway, to Pop, Country, R&B and Rock.

Paul Carr is the full time music teacher for Junior and Intermediate grades at Glenburnie Private School in Oakville, and continues to work as a freelance reed player.
