You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.I sketched the "A" part of this piece while standing outside a movie theatre in New York, on an early morning in 2000. I can't remember which film I was going to see, but I remember it was rainy. This arrangement shows a lot of weird (shall we say, optimistic) ideas in writing for strings. A good ensemble should be able to do it - my quartet can. if you like this work, please also check out "Window Cleaner" - another humourous work for string quartet. Thanks!, Ljova / New Credo on arranging jazzy charts: if you're going to bother writing something out, make it challenging. :)
