You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices.This piece, originally written for brass 10-piece, was the result of a discovery that two traditional Scottish folk tunes fit pretty well over the top of each other. Both Loch Lomond and Wild Mountain Thyme are beautiful tunes in their own right, and I've tried to preserve that while bringing something new to the table.
The first trumpet part of this version of the piece has an option to play the opening and closing passages on a flugelhorn for a more mellow colour, although this is optional.
The trombone and tuba parts are presented here in bass clef, but treble clef Bb and Eb parts are also available. If you've purchased this piece and would prefer those over the bass clef, please contact me through my profile here on ScoreExchange.
