SSATB with piano and flute. Ends with a capella section based on Song of Solomon. I wrote this song paraphrasing the Gospel of Matthew and relating the promised 2nd coming and taking up of the church with the very human love poem (Song of Solomon). This song was written when I suddenly had to move away from home for several years. It was/is dedicated to my home church, Conshohocken UMC. They performed while I was away.
