Weeping Willow for 1.6 Shakuhachi (or Flute) was composed in 1988 as part of a recording inspired by Monet's paintings. These pieces were performed at the Portland Art Museum by Ensemble Giverny (members of Portland Symphony) and recorded on a Moonbridge Recording.
