The version of this concerto that most people play is based on an edition made 43 years after the composed revised the piece. Various changes had been made by an annonymous editor in that time to articulations, expression with some alterations to notes. This version endeavours to present the revised version solo part in a similar way to the way it first saw the light of day. There are a couple of notes that could be considered to be written in error, however this version allows the performer to make up his or her own mind. it also allows the performer to decide on articulations in areas where none are offered.
