The first B-flat clarinet part is arranged to be playable by a beginner on the instrument. My goal was to write a piece that would sound advanced, but give a recent student to the clarinet a chance to participate and shine with the rest. I have such a one in mind and I dedicate this work to my daughter, Valerie.
