This arangement of the Overture to the Water Music Suite #2 in D major is for wind band. The music is well known and great fun for both audience and musicians. The challenges in this music are fast technical passages and some extended ranges. The trumpets and horns need to be especially good as the music requires extended ranges, articulate and aggressive playing, and the capability of lip trills and other grace notes.
