This is one of Clara Schumann’s most beautiful songs. I have arranged the melody, maintaining the original accompaniment, for three-part male voices. This would be lovely as a trio or sung by a full male chorus. Each part gets their turn at the melody, as the song has three verses. Maintain a light, unforced tone throughout for the most splendid presentation.
