Knowing that this march appears regularly in march books, I first studied the existing arrangements before proceeding. The Laurendeau version (which most bands currently use) places the 1st strain triplets at the top of the trumpet and euphonium ranges, making them needlessly difficult. I have simplified this figure in the brass parts and kept it intact throughout the woodwinds. This version also clarifies the reduced instrumentation the 1st time through the trio to achieve the desired effect (all marked 2nd time only). I have also kept the upper woodwinds within more reasonable ranges (ex., 1st clarinet does not go above high E). Finally I added dynamics, articulations, and a new snare drum part.
