These two part songs were written for the New London Children's Choir in 1993, and first performed by them; they were later broadcast on BBC Radio 3 for 'Children in Need' Day. The first poem is quite lyrical, the second lively and in the nature of a nonsense song. The piece is also suitable for women's voices.
