This is a quirky fun and friendly "cartoon style" kids piece of music. I developed it and orchestrated it from a motif I composed for my son with severe autism and complex needs. The Motif is about a toy zebra character who is my sons favourite toy. If you are interested in knowing more or wish to ask anything it would be great to hear from you.
If you are also interested in the book which gives children insights into the world of autism then please get in touch.
Book and music synopsis: Meet Tristan, Toy Zebra and Mummy in this quirky true life, short illustrated story with music which will have you laughing with Tristan at the absurdity of life from the perspective of a severely autistic young boy. Now, I’ll have you know, they are all just a little obsessed with music! And Toy Zebra helps mummy to create a musical masterpiece. Toy zebra is also very good at keeping Mummy in check as he and Tristan plan distractions and try to make out the world of the so called neuro-typicals! And so the musical masterpiece is written in amongst the chaos of daily life for Tristan and Toy Zebra. The day of the performance comes and Toy Zebra becomes a very very famous Zebra indeed!
