Ralph Vaughan Williams composed “Toward the Unknown Region” as a work for chorus and orchestra based on “Darest Thou Now, O Soul,” a work by the American poet, Walt Whitman (1819-1892). Fr. Anello captures the emotion of the choral work in an arrangement for concert band.

Please note that the score presented on ScoreExchange is not the actual Conductor’s Score; it is my working score. The actual Conductor’s Score is found in the part "Conductor’s Score." This file was created as letter size but the margins were designed to print properly on A4 size. The score needs to be bound and the parts need to be taped. For instructions on how to receive a PDF in ledger or A3 size for printing two-sided on ledger paper (this score needs to be trimmed to 9"x12" and bound), contact me via: robertanello.wix.com/robertanellomusic.
