When I saw this beautiful painting by Lee Teter, I knew that I had to put it to music. The painting is called Through Lovers Eyes, and captures a lifetime of love and devotion in one moment. Here is a link to the painting:
This sacrificial love only grows more beautiful as time passes. I have learned so much from watching my parents and grandparents stay faithful to each other, through the good times and even when it gets hard. This is true love; love that gives.
Maybe one day I will also be able to serve a godly husband with this love.
The mp3 audio was recorded by Right Hemisphere Films. They did an awesome job, and were very easy to work with. The vocalist was Roch Guertin, whose amazing voice brought this song to life. Also, the cellist was Meghan Zeikle, a long time friend, who is a master at improv on the spot. Thanks to all those who helped make this song come together!
