The forth, fifth & sixth in a set of twelve Trio Sonata's written by Boyce in the Italian style. They were really popular on first publication in 1747. It is difficult to understand why Boyce does not get more recognition, these are beautiful examples of their type. The Slow March from Sonata No 4 was played at his funeral service. He is buried at St. Paul's Cathedral, London.
