A collection of pieces written during my time at Colchester Institute. Originally written for visiting soloists, they have been transcribed for Clarinet and Piano as a musical album for my time studying music.
The only piece that was originally written for Clarinet, 'Passion' was composed for Samantha Christopher (formerly Miller) as a birthday present.
The 'Dreamwheel' was written for Hans Kujt on Baritone Saxophone.
Organised as the finale for the set, 'Rushford' was written for Nicole Rushforth on Alto Saxophonist studying at Colchester Institute and former housemate. It was awarded 2nd place in The Roy Teed Cup for Composition in 2010 adjudicated by Vincent Lindsay‐Clarke who dubbed it "Sparkling…with just the right balance of grandiose writing throughout…"
