Here is an upbeat setting of Phillipians 4:8 for three-part women's chorus. I was really excited to set this text for young voices, because it holds such a profound principle for successful living: we have a choice about the things we allow our minds to dwell on, and the choices we make greatly affect our lives and ultimately our character. I thought about also including 2 Cor. 10:5, "We take captive every thought . ." but, I didn't want the piece to become too lengthy, and musically, I felt the idea was complete.
