This song written in SATB has become our "family song" and we have sung it on many family occasions. It is fun to have family members harmonize in 4 parts. It was written many years ago for a skit for our church in which a rebellious teenager finally realized the blessing of having a caring family. It could be used in a church setting or simply enjoyed being sung by your own family. My oldest daughter Delsy wrote the words as she has done in several of our other songs and she and I collaborated on the music. She is a high school English teacher and has written many beautiful and thoughtful poems.
