The Weaver (scored for Clarinet in E flat, 3 B flat Clarinets, Alto and Bass Clarinet) is a Modern Reel in concert F minor in ternary form.

The reel is a traditional bright dance originating from Scotland, but reels goes back to the middle ages. This original fun piece which celebrates all weavers through the years, is in a steady 2/2 time which is like nearly all reels, and the style may be a good introduction to early intermediate students and performers. It also has only quarter and eighth notes throughout with the occasional half-note so rhythmically quite simple!

The range of all parts is around two octaves in comfortable ranges and the complete score is on the youtube link for you to assess suitability. Intermediate level although for a lot of it, early intermediate players would be fine. Instrumental parts are 3 pages, and the full score is 12 pages.

It is around 3 minutes in length and a great addition to the repertoire. Price is for the full score and parts.

Versions for Flute Duet with Piano, Clarinet Duet with Piano and Violin Duet with Piano are also available. YouTube Link https://youtu.be/XHcyauazV3U
