« The Song of the Lamb » is a Cantata in five movements originally written for soprano and baritone solo, chorus and orchestra speaking about a text (in french) from Revelation Book. The Third movement begins with this verse «For Thou only art holy; for all nations shall come and worship before Thee…» To reflect the mood of the text, the music sounds affectionate and contemplative, and at other times decided and most dramatic, but the tempo stays around « Andante ».
