The River is an instrumental pentatonic Chinese piece for Piano. The music is about the flow of a river from its source to its destination.
The tune is based on the Hakka Hill Song traditional Mother Tune, called Baban.
This is a good introduction to Chinese folk music for intermediate to higher-level players.
