You are purchasing high quality sheet music PDF files suitable for printing or viewing on digital devices. This movement (a scherzo, if you will) follows the "Andante Tranquillo" (q.v.). It is somewhat more dissonant (and more openly uses quartal and secundal harmonies) than the Andante, if no more avant garde. I woke up one morning with a 13/8 rhythm in my head that I couldn't get rid of – now you can have it too. The Molto Meno Mosso section was written in the days following a suicide bombing in Jerusalem. While the music was not intended to have any relation to external events, it seems to reflect how I was feeling at the time.
