The words of "The Oak Tree" were written by Johnny Ray Ryder, Jr. This is a wonderful text which uses the oak tree to tell a story of courage, strength and endurance. This SAB arrangement is a simple, yet elegant voicing which could be sung by middle school/high school or adult choir. There is also a 2-part arrangement suitable for children available on this website.
