Lisz, Gounod, and Bruckner all took up this style of composition in some of their works for Christian worship. I have replaced the traditional Latin text of the Lord's Prayer with the familiar English version, making note-value and rhythmic changes as needed, and slightly altered the harmonization of the last three measures to bring the piece to a more satisfactory close as a stand-alone anthem.
